These are the terms for using CiviciReport — what you can expect from us, and what we ask of you.
CiviciReport is for adults who live in a supported country and sign in with a verified mobile number. By using it, you confirm you can take responsibility for what you post. One person, one account.
Keep access to your phone and account secure. Give accurate details (your name and area), and don't create multiple accounts or impersonate anyone. You're responsible for activity under your account.
You're responsible for what you post. You agree to follow the Community Guidelines — in particular: report problems, not people; no adverts or selling; no other people's personal information; nothing false, unsafe, hateful or unlawful. Misuse may lead to content being removed or access being limited.
You keep ownership of what you create. By posting, you give CiviciReport permission to store, display and share it within the service (including on public report pages and shareable links) so the platform can work. Photos you upload are watermarked with the CiviciReport logo. Don't post anything you don't have the right to share.
To keep CiviciReport safe and useful, we (and community flags) may review content, and we may hide or remove anything that breaks the guidelines, or limit or remove access for serious or repeated breaches. We aim to act fairly and on the content, not the person.
CiviciReport is provided "as is". We work to keep it available and accurate, but we can't guarantee it will always be uninterrupted or error-free, and we don't guarantee that any report, confirmation or user post is accurate — those come from the community.
To the extent allowed by law, CiviciReport is not responsible for content posted by users, for actions taken (or not taken) by any authority, or for what happens at a community action organised through the platform. The final Terms will set out the precise limits of liability, reviewed by a qualified lawyer.
We may update the service and these Terms as CiviciReport grows. When the Terms change we'll update the date at the top, and significant changes will be made clear.
The governing law and the way disputes are handled will be specified in the final version, following legal review. Questions about these Terms can be sent to us at [contact details to be added].
